第1条 この内規は,東海国立大学機構(以下「機構」という。)が保有する研究設備・機器のうち,東海国立大学機構イノベーションコアファシリティステーション運営室(以下「運営室」という。)が維持管理を行う東海国立大学機構設備・機器管理データベースに登録されたもの(以下「共用設備及び機器」という。)の利用に関し必要な事項を定める。
第2条 共用設備及び機器は,研究,教育,開発又は診療を目的とする場合に利用することができる。
第3条 共用設備及び機器を利用できる者は,次の各号のいずれかに該当する者とする。
第4条 共用設備及び機器の利用の申請は,共用設備及び機器を利用しようとする者(以下「申請者」という。)が,運営室の維持管理する東海国立大学機構設備・機器共用システム(以下「共用システム」という。)を通じて,共用設備及び機器を維持管理する者(以下「設備・機器管理者」という。)に行うものとする。
2 前条第一号から第四号までに該当する申請者については,その所属する組織(以下「利用者グループ」という。)の責任者(以下「利用責任者」という。)を特定しなければならない。
3 前条第五号又は第六号に該当する申請者については,別紙様式により,その所属する組織に関する情報等を明示しなければならない。
第5条 設備・機器管理者は,前条の申請があった場合,これを適当と認めたときは承認するものとし,共用システムにより申請者又は利用責任者にその旨通知するものとする。
2 前条に規定する第五号又は第六号に該当する申請者の所属する組織に関する情報等の明示が困難である場合,運営室長と当該設備・機器の管理者が協議して,利用の可否を判断するものとする。
第6条 第4条の申請の内容等に変更があった場合は,申請者は,速やかに設備・機器管理者に届出なければならない。
第7条 第5条の承認を得た申請者(以下「利用者」という。)は,次の各号に掲げる事項を遵守しなければならない。
第8条 利用者が前条各号に掲げる遵守事項に違反した場合,設備・機器管理者は,その利用の承認の取り消し,又は一定期間の利用の停止,若しくは利用を禁止することができる。
第9条 利用者が故意又は過失により共用設備及び機器を損傷させた場合,利用者若しくは利用責任者は,当該共用設備及び機器を現状に復帰させるために要した費用の全部又は一部を負担するものとする。
第10条 利用者が共用設備及び機器を利用した場合,その利用実績は,設備・機器管理者が確認し,共用システムで集計する。
第11条 利用料の額は,共用設備及び機器毎に別に定めた額を適用し,共用システムが集計した利用実績を基に算定する。
第12条 共用システムから,前条により算定した利用料を利用者若しくは利用責任者に対して通知する。
第13条 この内規に定めるもののほか,共用設備及び機器の利用に関し必要な事項は,東海国立大学機構統括技術センター運営委員会の議を経て,統括技術センター長が定める。
この内規は,令和4年4月1日から施行する。

Use Rules for Nagoya University’s
Research Facilities and Equipment
Point
Section 1 These Rules set forth necessary matters for the use of facilities and equipment which are registered in the Nagoya University Facilities and Equipment Management Database (hereinafter referred to as “the Management Database) maintained by the Technical Center of Nagoya University Equipment Sharing Promotion Office (hereinafter referred to as “the Promotion Office”) out of research facilities and equipment held by Nagoya University (hereinafter referred to as “the University”).
Purpose of Use
Section 2 Shared facilities and equipment may be used for the purposes of research, education, development or medical care.
Use Qualifications
Section 3 Those who may use the shared facilities and equipment shall be anyone to whom any of the following apply:
- Staff of the University
- Postgraduate students and researchers in the postgraduate schools of the University
- Undergraduates and researchers in the University faculties
- Those who are admitted to engage in study in the departments of the University other than those who were set forth in item 1 through the previous item.
- Those who are recognized to be appropriate by the Head of the Promotion Office among those who are engaged in educational research organs or companies etc. other than the University.
- Other than the above, those who are recognized to be appropriate by the Head of the Promotion Office.
Application for Use
Section 4 The application for the use of the shared facilities and equipment will be done by those who intend to use shared facilities and equipment (hereinafter referred to as “the Applicant”) to those who maintain shared facilities and equipment (hereinafter referred to as “the Manager of Facilities and Equipment”) via the Nagoya University Equipment Sharing System (hereinafter referred to as “the Sharing System”) maintained by the Promotion Office
2 Regarding the Applicants to whom item 1 through item 4 of the previous section apply, they shall specify the responsible person (hereinafter referred to as “the Person Responsible for Use”) of the organization to which they belong (hereinafter referred to as “the User Group”).
3 Regarding the Applicants to whom item 5 or item 6 of the same Section applies, they shall expressly indicate information on the organizations to which they belong using the attached form.
Approval of Use
Section 5 When there is an application set forth in the previous Section, and when the Manager of Facilities and Equipment recognizes it to be appropriate, he/she shall approve the application and shall notify the Applicant or the Person Responsible for Use to that effect through the shared system
Notification of Changes
Section 6 When there is a change in the details etc. of the application set forth in Section 4, the Applicant shall promptly notify the Manager of Facilities and Equipment of the change.
Matters to Observe
Section 7 The Applicants who have obtained the approval set forth in Section 5 (hereinafter referred to as “the Users”) shall observe the matters listed in the following items.
- They shall not use the shared facilities and equipment for any purpose other than approved purposes.
- They shall observe the rules etc. concerning the use of shared facilities and equipment (hereinafter referred to as “the Use Rules etc.”) set forth separately by the Manager of Facilities and Equipment.
- The Applicants shall not disclose or divulge any information they come to know through the use of shared facilities and equipment (excluding analytical data related to their own studies) to a third party.
- They shall not commit any act to prevent use by other Users.
Cancellation of Use etc.
Section 8 When a User breaches a matter to be observed which is listed in each item of the previous Section, the Manager of Facilities and Equipment may cancel the approval for their use or may suspend or prohibit the use for a certain period.
Damages
Section 9 When a User has caused damage to shared facilities and equipment by intention or negligence, the User and the Person Responsible for Use shall bear the whole or part of the cost required to return the shared facilities and equipment to their original state.
Aggregate Calculation of Use Results
Section 10 When a User uses the shared facilities and equipment, his/her results of use will be confirmed by the Manager of Facilities and Equipment and tallied using a shared system
Calculation of Use Charges
Section 11 The amount of use charges will be applied according to the amount separately set by the University’s head for each shared facility and equipment and will be calculated based on the use results tallied by the shared system.
Notification of Use Charges
Section 12 The use charges calculated in the previous Section will be communicated by the shared system to the User or Person Responsible for Use.
Miscellaneous
Section 13 Other than those set forth in these Rules, required matters concerning the use of the shared facilities and equipment will be set forth by the head of the University’s Technical Center through discussion by the Nagoya University Technical Center Operation Committee.
Supplementary Provisions
These Rules will be enforced on April 1, 2015.
